Prams, strollers, buggies and travel systems

Pram covers

As well as the main pram or pushchair there are also the different covers to consider. The most obvious are the plastic rain covers, usually of PVC, but there are also sun canopies or umbrellas to consider. Whilst there may be specific rain covers made for your pram or pushchair there might not be a specific sun umbrella, and there are generic varieties available.

Some models though have a specific umbrella fitting and other makes, which may be cheaper, might not fit it.

As well as sun and rain covers there are a variety of warm mufflers that can be purchased, which again will depend upon the model that you have selected.

The main thing to consider though is what time of year is your baby due. Given the summer of 2007, which was baking hot in April and wet through most of the summer then predicting which type of cover your baby and pushchair might need is even harder.

Travel system covers

With travel systems where you have interchangeable carry cot, pram or pushchair scenarios then you may have to get different covers for each element which can significantly increase the cost.
